Our teachers make the difference

Committed to your child’s success

Our teachers ensure every student can thrive. They use proven ways to teach and tailor learning support for their students

Expert, connected and accredited

Our teachers are part of a strong education network. They may hold advanced accreditation. This ensuring high-quality teaching for your child.

Teachers who never stop learning

Our teachers are lifelong learners. They stay current through regular training and keep improving how they teach students.

Teacher–family partnerships

Our teachers build trust through clear communication. Our families know that their child has support and is ready to learn.

Learning and Wellbeing (LAW)

Our learning and wellbeing staff guide student wellbeing, learning needs and inclusion. They work with teachers to make personalised adjustments. The Learning and Wellbeing Faculty is a part of the school Learning Support system, providing direct and individualised assistance to students in mainstream classes who have been identified as having additional support needs. The work undertaken by the LAW Faculty, which reflects the individual needs of the students, may take the form of in class support, individual case management, small groups or whole class interventions. This team relies on professional collaboration with parents/carers, staff, support personnel both internal and external, counsellors, our Student Support Officer, external agencies and the students themselves to meet the additional support needs of the students identified. This means each child can take part fully in school life. We make our school welcoming and accessible to every child.

Careers and Transition Team (CATT)

At our school, we believe that career development should start early, and every student deserves a pathway that matches their unique interests, strengths, and aspirations. Our Careers and Transition Team is here to help Year 7 students begin their journey towards a fulfilling and successful future, with a range of tailored programs that evolve as they progress through their schooling. We offer a variety of work experience opportunities and industry immersion programs designed to give students real-world insights and hands-on learning. Our TAFE taster courses introduce students to vocational options, while specialised training in areas like barista skills, White card certification and first aid equip them with valuable, practical skills. As students approach Year 10, our Careers and Transition Team provides individualised Pathway Plans to ensure each student is on the right track towards their chosen future. In Year 10, students also engage in Futures Lessons, which offer deep, guided exploration of career options, university pathways, and personal strengths. These lessons help students make informed decisions as they begin to chart their future course. Whether they are considering university, TAFE or apprenticeships, our team ensures that each student is given the tools and guidance they need to make informed choices and build a pathway that’s right for them.
